Gardening Together with Diarmuid Gavin was first shown on RTE One and BBC One Northern Ireland on 17 July 2020.

 Diarmuid Gavin has been missing from our screens as a gardener for too long and his new programme invites us into his own garden.

 His garden in Bray Co Wicklow will undergo a lockdown transformation during this 6 part series.

They moved to the new build house 12 years ago and have been transforming it into their dream home and garden ever since.

 A new sunken fire pit seating area and hen house are amongst the planned changes as well as giving us inspiration and ideas for our own gardens.

 Every week a garden will be transformed by the householder using Diarmuid's plans and will include  a whole range of different garden styles.

 The programme will also feature advice and tips, not only from Diarmuid but from other Gardening Experts.

 Diarmuid uses video calls, viewers videos as well as viewers questions and photos plus the odd surprise visit.

 In Episode 1 Diarmuid visits a Community Project in Belfast where residents have converted a dirty back alley in to a green garden haven during the Covid-19 Lockdown.
This has become a Social Media Sensation with over 3 million views and Diarmuid visited it himself in Episode 6.

Diarmuid's shares his enthusiastic approach and his wealth of knowledge whether you are a novice gardener or looking for a new kind of gardening programme, we can all be 'Gardening Together'.
