Lucy Willcox is an award winning Garden Designer specialising in Contemporary Garden Design and TV Presenter on Alan Titchmarsh’s Gardening Club.

Lucy started her career in film and photography gaining a Batchelor of Technology (BTech) followed by a Batchelor’s Degree in Photography.

Lucy then progressed from an Assistant Film Editor to Film Producer working on Commercials for many well known brands.

A change of career saw Lucy obtain a Diploma in Garden Design from Inchbald School of Design and she worked as a Garden Designer before opening her own Design Business Lucy Willcox Garden Design in 2007.

Alan Titchmarsh had already seen Lucy design work when he chose one of Lucy garden designs to feature on his 2015 programme Britain’s Best Back Garden’s where he visited her Highgate family friendly garden.

In 2024 Lucy Willcox became the new Garden Designer on Alan Titchmarsh new Gardening Programme Alan Titchmarsh’s Gardening Club which was first aired on Monday 4 March at 2 pm.

As well as Alan and Lucy it also has Horticulturist David Domoney, Community Gardener Tayshan Hayden-Smith, Horticulturist Camilla Bassett-Smith , House Plant Expert Sarah Gerrard-Jones and Organic Gardener Anna Greenland

In 2025 Lucy Wilcox returned as the Garden Designer om Alan TitchmarshGardening Programme Alan Titchmarsh’s Gardening Club Season 2 2025 which was first aired on Monday 10 March 2025 at 2 pm.

As well as Alan and Lucy it also has Organic Gardener Anna Greenland, small space Gardener Jason Williams, Community Gardener Errol Reuben Fernandes, House Plant Expert Claire Lowrie. Urban Gardener Martha Swales, DIY Garden Expert Henry Agg Eco Gardener Poppy Okotcha Permaculturist Huw Richards Country Gardener Katy Watson Horticulturist Camilla Bassett-Smith and Family Gardener Helen Cross

Lucy Wilcox is a Resident Garden Designer for online retailer Crocus and has her own collection online currently of Perennials and grasses.

Lucy Willcox past home and the Garden she has designed in Highgate, London has featured on numerous television programmes and in magazines.

Lucy has documenting her renovation of a 1960s bungalow by Wimbledon Common on a Instagram page our60srevamp including of course the stunning Garden.
