Buster is TV Gardener Adam Frost’s new dog.
Buster first appeared in Gardeners’ World 2025 in Episode 5 on 11 April 2025.
Buster is a Miniature Dachshund who joined the family in December 2024.
Adam Frost is already known for his Pet co-presenters, including the very grumpy and show stealing Ash the Cat
Adam also has another dog Islay the Black Labrador and I am unsure what has happened to Mo the Cocker Spaniel.
Adam now has another black Labrador but as yet I do not know its name.
Busters mission also seems to be to steal the show from his Co-Presenter Adam Frost whilst both watering the garden!
In Episode 22, first shown on 22 August 2025, Buster was caught short in the background as Adam was watering a pot and proceeded to do his own watering!
This blooper caused a stir on Social Media, with a lot of viewers having spotted this and Buster is soon becoming a firm favourite with the viewers.
Ash the Cat also made an appearance in this Episode and showed in his own style that Buster did not bother him at all and this whole attempt at upstaging him was so boring, he went to sleep!
Buster joins the list of other popular Animal Co-Stars of Gardeners’ World and this combination of Pets and Gardening seems popular with the viewers.
I suppose it proves you can have pets and still have a very well maintained garden, even if they choose to water the plants!
Buster although little in size has quickly become a big part of Gardeners’ World whenever Adam Frost is on and he chooses to make an appearance.
Somehow Adam always seems to be upstaged by his many pets and Buster seems to enjoy doing that!
