Gardeners’ World 2023 returns with Monty Don welcoming us to the first of four Gardeners’ World Compilations 2023.

The first programme was shown on Friday 17 February 2023 on BBC2 and repeated in the Sunday morning Gardening slot and is also available on the BBC iplayer.

The return of Gardeners’ World for these pre Spring Compilations brings a welcome treat on a February night at a time when we are all keen to get cracking on the new seasons gardening.

What this programme gives us is not Monty standing in a Cold Winters garden at Longmeadow but a voice over introducing the clips taken from the previous 2 years of Gardeners’ World.

Whether you watch the programme to re-visit a favourite garden featured or a look at a favourite plant, hopefully it will give us some ideas and motivation for the growing year ahead.

There is still plenty of time to plan for this year and this insight into what we could be attaining or growing in our own gardens is always a welcome pleasure.

An extra dose of Monty and his dogs is also a guilty pleasure for lots of us.
