Sarah became interested in gardening from a young age helping her Grandad, years later when she was a student and had no garden her love for houseplants started.
Sarah started The RHS Plant Rescue Box in 2023 alongside the RHS to give plants that are unwanted or wonky a chance of a loving home and to give advice on healthy plant maintenance.
After seeing Orchids in her local DIY shop being thrown away when the plants had stopped flowering due to mistreatment she came up with the concept of saving unwanted plants on a worldwide scale.
Sarah has over 200 Houseplants in her home!

In 2024 Sarah Gerrard-Jones became the new House Plant Expert on Alan Titchmarsh new Gardening Programme Alan Titchmarsh's Gardening Club which was first aired on Monday 4 March at 2 PM.
As well as Alan and Sarah it also has Horticulturist David Domoney, Community Gardener Tayshan Hayden-Smith, Horticulturist Camilla Bassett-Smith, Organic Gardener Anna Greenland, small space Gardener Jason Williams, Permaculturist & Forager Danni Gallacher, Ramona Jones Cottage Gardener and Lucy Willcox Garden Designer.
Sarah held her Plant Clinic at Gardeners World Live in 2023 and has a huge following on her Social Media Channels.
Sarah is a regular writer for Gardeners World Magazine as well as other publications.
