David Domoney

David Domoney is a gardener who was born in 26th March 1963 in Devizes Wiltshire.

David has 3 siblings and his father worked for BT as a Senior Executive and his mother worked as a Tupperware Area Sales Manager.

David attended Moseley School in Birmingham leaving at 16 to attend Warwickshire Agricultural College.

After college David embarked on a 3 year apprenticeship with Notcutts Nursery and Garden Centre Group which included day release to study at Hadlow College of Agriculture and Horticulture.

David was not done with studying and an Advanced Certificate in Horticulture (ANCH) at Pershore College.

David Domoney is the only Chartered Horticulturist on our TV screens.

After leaving College David started work at Anglia Nurseries as a Sales and Marketing Manager.

This lead to him taking the role of Horticulture Director for Seasons Garden Centre Group PLC.

A long career followed leading Global buying teams for such companies as Do It ALL and Texas Homecare.

David's TV career beckoned, starting as a garden presenter on Texas Homecare satellite TV channels for the staff.

From broadcasting to 20,000 staff to now over 4 million viewers co-presenting on Britain's most watched garden TV programme, David Domoney has been on our screens since 2002.

in 1999 David started his highly successful Garden Design, garden and Lifestyle PR company Domoney LTD.

They had not only numerous big companies as clients but have designed gardens for major celebrities.

This was just the start and David has appeared on a host of TV shows including This Morning, Solution Street, 60 Minute Makeover.

In 2012 David Domoney joined Love your Garden co-presenting the show along with Alan Titchmarsh, Katie Rushworth and Frances Tophill.

in 2021 Danny Clarke joined the Love Your Garden Team making his Debut in a Love Your Garden Themed special 2021 first aired 13 July 2021 Love Your Small Garden Special.

in 2024 David Domoney became the new Garden Expert on Alan Titchmarsh new Gardening Programme Alan Titchmarsh's Gardening Club which was first aired on Monday 4 March at 2 PM.

As well as Alan and David it also has Horticulturist Camilla Bassett-Smith Community Gardener Tayshan Hayden-Smith, House Plant Expert Sarah Gerrard-Jones, Organic Gardener Anna Greenland and Award Winning Garden Designer Lucy Willcox.

David lives in Stratford Upon Avon with his partner Adele Holdsworth and their 3 children Alice, Abigail and Lance.

David Domoney has a garden furniture range available online as well as a range of garden seeds which are available at all gardening retailers.
