Anna started her career as a model and Journalist then she began getting interested in living a more rural lifestyle and moved to Cornwall to work at the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
She comes from a family of gardeners with both her Mother and Grandmother but she did not get interested in it until she had her own garden.
Anna also produced food for other top chefs like Jamie Oliver, after working in his Restaurant as a waitress, she ended up becoming a supplier.
She worked for 3 years in Raymond Blanc's vegetable garden producing food for Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons.
Anna also created the Soho Farmhouse fruit and vegetable gardens.
Anna started study with RHS and then won a place in America for her Ecological Horticultural studies and qualified from University of California, Santa Cruz.
Kew on a Plate with Raymond Blanc was first shown in 2015 and featured a garden designed for Kew by Anna Greenland, she also contributed to the book that accompanied the series.
In 2021 Anna published her first book Grow Easy: Organic crops for pots and small plots
In 2024 Anna Greenland became the new Organic Gardening expert on Alan Titchmarsh new Gardening Programme Alan Titchmarsh's Gardening Club which was first aired on Monday 4 March at 2 PM.
As well as Alan and Anna it also has Horticulturist David Domoney, Community Gardener Tayshan Hayden-Smith, Horticulturist Camilla Bassett-Smith , House Plant Expert Sarah Gerrard-Jones, small space Gardener Jason Williams, Permaculturist & Forager Danni Gallacher, Ramona Jones Cottage Gardener and Lucy Willcox Garden Designer.
Anna now has her own organic vegetable gardens at her home near Snape Maltings in Brandeston, Suffolk where she lives with her Husband and Daughter.
