Gardeners' World Compilations 2026

Gardeners' World Compilations 2026

Gardeners' World 2026 returns with Monty Don welcoming us to the first of four Gardeners' World Compilations 2026

The first programme was shown on Friday 09 January 2026 on BBC2.
It is repeated in the Saturday morning Gardening slot and is also available on the BBC iplayer.

With Gardeners' World 2025 ending late this year and Gardeners' World Winter Specials 2025/2026 only just ending, Monty is back with the highlights of the last series already.

The first of the four programmes looks back on Monty making changes to the Jewel Garden by adding giant grasses,

He plants some Dwarf Beans  and gives us some tips for Oriental Poppies

We revisit a garden in Bath visited by Toby Buckland, as well as a visit to RHS Bridgewater by Jamie Butterworth.

Adam Frost visits a walled garden in Essex and we see what a Community Group in Cheshire has done to involve people in gardening.

We also see him visit a Couple in the Peak District that have their own way of growing vegetables.

In Episode 2 Monty is, Putting tender Salvias in the ground and doing his pots in the Jewel Garden taking out Tulips and adding Summer bedding.

Carol Klein is giving us some inspiration for our beds and borders for the Spring.

The Aster is celebrated by Rachel De Thame and Advolly Richmond following in the footsteps of writer and garden designer Vita Sackville-West.

We are also visiting viewers gardens to look at Delphiniums and Ferns

After several weeks Monty back for Episode 3 and at Longmeadow he is sowing Cosmos, telling us his secret for growing Blueberries and making a sauce from his Tomatoes.

Sue Kent is in the border to Wales to meet an Artist using their blooms and Rekha Mistry is in her own garden

Chelsea Flower Show Designer Tom Hoblyn meets with Joe Swift to give him a lesson in bud grafting.

There also a visit to some allotments in Birmingham and meet a Chef who likes to grow their own produce.

Episode 4 is the final Episode of the Compilation episodes before the return of Gardeners' World 2026 on Friday 13 March 2026.

Monty is potting a Fig Tree, shares his knowledge for Rose growers and revives a Agapanthus.

Frances Tophill is visiting a retired GP and Arit Anderson is visiting the garden of 2 designers.

A visit to the RHS Hyde Hall by Ashley Edwards to see the drought resistant plants they grow as well as a close up look at Bees by a Wildlife Camera Man.

Adam Frost

Some armchair gardening during the cold Winter months is always a treat.

We take a break from the hard graft to flick through some seed catalogues and plan ahead for the next season.

Time for some inspiration and planning, time to admire others hard work.

If we do not achieve a garden to Longmeadow's standards, just getting to taste your own produce or have a garden full of colour is just an achievement!

Hurry up Spring!

Gardeners' World Winter Specials 2025/2026

Gardeners' World Winter Specials 2025/2026

Gardeners' World 2025 returns with
Monty Don and the Team welcoming us to 4 Gardeners' World Winter Specials 2025.

This series started on Friday 28 November 2025 right after the normal Gardeners' World 2025 Series ended.

Personally I would rather these were aired in January when there is not much gardening going on either outdoors or on the television.

The programmes are a celebration of all things about the Winter seasons and include the usual visits to Long Meadow to see what things we can be doing in the garden at this time of year.

There also a chance to see some of the places the Presenters visited throughout the year in all the seasons, which is always enlightening to see new places to visits or new things to try in your own garden.

We also visit viewers gardens and house plant collections .

Whether you are still preparing the garden for Winter and the next growing season, or if you have put it all to bed until the warmer weather, it doesn't hurt to have a bit more gardening, even if it is just from your armchair!

Buster the Dog, owner of Adam Frost

Buster is TV Gardener Adam Frost's new dog.

Adam Frost is already known for his Pet co-presenters, including the very grumpy and show stealing Ash the Cat

Adam also has another dog Islay the Black Labrador and I am unsure what has happened to Mo the Cocker Spaniel.
