Gardeners' World Winter Specials 2025/2026

Gardeners' World Winter Specials 2025/2026

Gardeners' World 2025 returns with
Monty Don and the Team welcoming us to 4 Gardeners' World Winter Specials 2025.

This series started on Friday 28 November 2025 right after the normal Gardeners' World 2025 Series ended.

Personally I would rather these were aired in January when there is not much gardening going on either outdoors or on the television.

The programmes are a celebration of all things about the Winter seasons and include the usual visits to Long Meadow to see what things we can be doing in the garden at this time of year.

There also a chance to see some of the places the Presenters visited throughout the year in all the seasons, which is always enlightening to see new places to visits or new things to try in your own garden.

We also visit viewers gardens and house plant collections .

Whether you are still preparing the garden for Winter and the next growing season, or if you have put it all to bed until the warmer weather, it doesn't hurt to have a bit more gardening, even if it is just from your armchair!

Frances and Rua

The series starts with Frances Tophill going back to Damson Farm hopefully with her dog Rua.

Frances is out braving the cold, mulching beds, taking Holly cuttings and making Damson Gin.

Sue Kent is sharing her passion for Hydrangeas, Advolly Richmond visits a English Country Garden, Nick Bailey visits a modern garden in a Medieval ruin and we go to see a viewers house plant collection.

Episode 2 and Monty Don  wants us all outside and gardening and gives us some jobs we could be doing!

Adam Frost visits a Winter Garden, Ashley Edwards educating us on healthy soil, Joe Swift looking at multi trunked trees and we visits viewers who are into Prairie planting.

Adam and Buster

In Episode 3 we have the new double act of  Adam Frost and Buster the Dog presenting, lets hope Buster does not show them up again!

Adam is planting Hellebores, doing a Sedum roof and repairing a Nest Box.

Also in this episode Carol Klein visits a Secret Garden, Rekha Mistry visits an allotment, Jamie Butterworth visits a field of Perennials plus we visit viewers gardens to see their Snowdrop collection.
