Calum Clunie

Calum Clunie is a Gardener and Allotmenteer who in 2021 became the new Presenter on BBC Scotland flagship gardening programme Beechgrove.

He got his love of gardening from his grandparents Alasdair and Sheila Simpson as a child they would all garden together.

Calum has watched Beechgrove or The Beechgrove Garden as it used to be known, for as long as he can remember.

He has been winning prizes at local shows since he was 15 with produce from his allotment.

Calum works at a High school where he is a School of Rugby co-ordinator.

From little acorns

In 2020 Calum featured on Beechgrove when he sent in clips filmed at his allotment in Fife.

Calum will be joining Beechgrove 2021 as a regular presenter from his allotment where we will following him through the complete growing process from seed to harvesting to Show standard produce.

He will be joining the current Beechgrove presenters Carole Baxter, George Anderson, Chris Beardshaw, Brian Cunningham, Kirsty Wilson, Sophie McKilligan and fellow new presenter Mairi Rattray.

Calum lives in Leven, Fife.
